Join Our Leadership Team as a Plant Manager!

Are you an experienced manufacturing leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of our facilitys production ensuring quality efficiency and a positive workplace culture. What Youll Do

  • Review production orders and schedules to plan and coordinate daily operations ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  • Establish priorities for manufacturing processes and develop operational schedules to meet production goals.
  • Monitor and analyze production and operational reports; resolve issues to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery ensuring optimal performance and utilization.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures and observe staff to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Compile store and retrieve production data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Lead daily/weekly 5S activities to maintain an organized efficient and safe workplace.
  • Manage plant costs and strive for cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Lead and Develop Teams

  • Oversee department supervisors and ensure effective direction coordination and evaluation across Wire Battery Planning and EHS departments.
  • Directly supervise employees providing guidance support and performance feedback.
  • Uphold company policies and legal requirements in all supervisory activities.
  • Handle employee relations resolve grievances and foster a collaborative work environment.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in recruiting interviewing and hiring processes.
  • Organize and deliver training programs ensuring team members are properly trained and cross-trained.
  • Plan assign and direct daily work assignments.
  • Write and deliver performance reviews recognize achievements and address performance issues as needed.
  • Respond to employee concerns and resolve problems promptly and fairly.

Your Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or related field or at least 6 years of relevant experience (or a combination of education and experience).
  • Previous managerial experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus but not required.

Technical and Professional Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; understanding of MRP logic and manufacturing planning processes.
  • Familiar with quality systems and statistical methods; ISO 9001 required IATF 16949 preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and solve challenging problems.
  • Experience with warehouse operations shipping receiving and inventory management.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams to drive product and process improvements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to leadership and external groups.

Soft Skills

  • Skilled at motivating teams delegating tasks and achieving results through others.
  • Effective mediator able to resolve personnel and departmental conflicts.
  • Resourceful and quick to identify root causes and implement operational solutions.
  • Adaptable with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong sense of accountability.
