Key Responsibilities:

Recruit and Engage Prospective Students

  • Conduct high school visits lead campus tours and represent CWI at college fairs and community events.
  • Motivate and guide students through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Provide follow-up and personalized support to students and families.

Provide Expert Admissions Counseling and Support

  • Review student applications and files offering clear next-step guidance.
  • Resolve student inquiries promptly and document interactions.
  • Assist students in completing New Student Orientation and onboarding tasks.

Collaborate and Promote Career & Technical Education (CTE) Programs

  • Partner with CTE faculty and student services staff to support program exploration.
  • Serve as liaison between Admissions One Stop and CTE for coordinated student support.
  • Develop and utilize marketing materials (photos flyers videos) to promote CTE programs.
  • Coordinate and staff large school visitation and recruitment programs.

What Were Looking For:

Associate degree
At least one year of experience in a collegiate setting preferably in student-facing positions serving a diverse non-traditional student population
Strong technical abilities: database systems presentation software Microsoft Office
suites or equivalent
Strong interpersonal and writing skills are necessary including public speaking skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Ability to move equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

*This is a grant-funded position that is contingent upon continued funding. Grant-funded positions are subject to at-will employment policies as well as applicable grant provisions and conditions.

**Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring managers discretion. All candidates must reside within or be willing to relocate to a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
