Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your testing and commissioning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and results-driven teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful realization of project and product testing in alignment with testing procedures and delivery schedules. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Manufacturing Industrial Quality Production Line Management and Engineering) manage an autonomous team of technicians to meet productivity targets and oversee the planning and workload in the testing workshop and much more.
Well look to you for:
Ensuring that test technicians have a clear and exhaustive understanding of the Acceptance Criteria
Participating in the Hand Over process from Manufacturing
Managing the planning and workload in the testing workshop on a day-to-day basis
Ensuring tests are carried out according to the Testing Procedure and that results are properly recorded
Ensuring the availability of tools and spare parts required for testing activities
Reviewing and continuously improving operational activities to meet productivity targets
Consolidating and documenting Test Reports comprehensively
Managing interfaces and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders including Industrial Quality Production Line Manager Manufacturing Manager to achieve testing KPIs

Experience or understanding of Testing & Commissioning of electrical control onboard communications and network systems within industrial manufacturing areas such as process industry railways or factory automation
Knowledge of key electrical and/or mechanical processes including earthing & bonding cabling protection and instrumentation
Strong leadership and communication skills
Familiarity with high-risk activities associated with electrical work and EHS (Environment Health and Safety) requirements
Ability to manage competencies and development plans for team members
Problem-solving and efficient decision-making capabilities in complex environments.
