Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester

Purpose of Position: Support the Center for Mission & Belonging through social media management event assistance and general tasks that promote the departments programs and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Marketing
- Manage and schedule posts across platforms (Instagram Facebook Twitter LinkedIn).
- Create graphics write captions and take photos/videos to highlight departmental news events and student achievements.
- Collaborate with Center for Mission & Belonging to develop engaging content and messaging.
- Assist with digital marketing materials such as flyers and newsletters.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled at Mount St. Joseph University.
Eligible for Federal Work Study.
Completed or currently taking CED 220.
Experience with social media content creation and marketing is a plus.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic graphic design tools (e.g. Canva)
Organized reliable and able to work independently.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Comfortable using Microsoft and Google applications
