Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care and support RNs with patient care activities
Welcome patients and verify identification
Prepare patients for exams procedures and admissions
Perform venipuncture specimen collection and EKGs as directed
Take and document vital signs glucose checks and daily weights
Monitor and record patient intake and output
Provide hygiene mobility assistance and comfort care
Assist with patient transport and meal preparation
Ensure medical equipment is clean functional and readily available
Respond promptly to patient needs and report changes to nursing staff
Adapt care to meet the diverse needs of patients
Maintain effective communication with patients families and healthcare team
