We are hiring for our client an established and reputable organisation in the construction/building services industry for the role of Mechanical Contracts Manager. Based in Ballymena and projects in Belfast this is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced professional to oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects ensuring their successful execution from start to finish.

The Role:

Project Management: Oversee mechanical contracts from inception to completion ensuring all work is delivered on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers and subcontractors providing technical guidance mentorship and fostering effective communication across the project team.
Budget Control: Manage project budgets and work closely with the commercial team to ensure financial oversight throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant building codes regulations and company standards conducting inspections and audits regularly.
Client Relations: Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders providing regular updates and ensuring project requirements are met.

The Person:

Degree-educated or time-served in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager or in a similar role within construction/building services.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC plumbing fire protection) and building regulations.
Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership communication and organisational skills.
