The posted range for this position is$67000 - $85000which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience current skills location/labor market internal equity etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.

What You Will Do
- Design implement and enhance features while fixing bugs
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices (including TDD) under the guidance of senior engineers
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues
- Collaborate through code reviews sprint planning and cross-team partnerships (including DevOps for CI/CD)
- Document code processes and technical specifications
- Continuously grow through learning mentorship and problem-solving with curiosity
Travel/Physical Demands
- Travel typically less than 10%
- Office environment with no special physical demands required
Technologies We Use
- Languages & Frameworks: Java Spring Boot
- Database: SQL Server and Postgres
- Containerization:Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud: AWS or other platforms
- DevOps & Tools:GitLab and Jira
- Microservice Architecture
- REST API Development
Qualifications
What You Will Have
- 2 years of experience building backend software with Java or a equivalent combination of education and internship experience
- Strong understanding of Java programming fundamentals (OOP data structures collections exceptions multithreading basics)
- Experience working in an agile environment. (Jira a plus)
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Eagerness to learn collaborate and grow in a team environment
Nice to Haves
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
- Understanding of unit testing
