Position Overview:

Midea a global leader in home appliances is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Sales Manager to lead and expand our home appliance and home comfort business with Ferguson. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of sales managers that are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and driving overall business growth with Ferguson. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong team leadership skills a deep understanding of the home appliances market and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve sales targets market share growth and profitability.
  • Team Leadership:Lead mentor and manage a high-performing team of sales managers. Provide coaching and support to ensure individual and team success.
  • Market Analysis: Identify opportunities for growth competitive landscape and customer needs. Use to inform sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Account Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and cross functional teams at Ferguson. Ensure customer satisfaction and retention by delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports forecasts and performance analyses to senior management. Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing product development and logistics to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company goals.
  • Brand Representation:Represent Midea at Ferguson events and meetings. Promote the brands values products and services to enhance brand awareness and reputation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales with at least 5 years in a leadership role preferably in the home appliances industry. Experience with Ferguson preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the home appliances market including trends customer preferences and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • The role is remote but the ideal candidate lives in close proximity to Newport News VA
