If so Liquid Personnel is recruiting a passionate professional for its client at Blackpool to take on the pivotal role of Responsible Individual / Service Manager overseeing a portfolio of childrens homes specialising in Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities. This is your opportunity to lead service development drive quality and shape the future of care across a growing organisation.
What will your responsibilities be
As the Responsible Individual and Service Manager you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across a cluster of childrens homes ensuring exceptional care safeguarding and full regulatory compliance
- Support coach and appraise Registered Managers to foster a culture of high performance professional growth and reflective practice
- Lead governance and quality assurance processes to ensure services consistently deliver positive outcomes for children and young people
- Oversee the development and registration of new services including recruitment and implementation of therapeutic care models
- Maintain oversight of Ofsted requirements and lead preparations for inspections
- Deliver regular performance regulatory and growth reports to the Board
Qualifications & Experience
Were looking for a values-driven leader who can inspire and influence at all levels. The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience managing and leading multiple childrens homes with expertise in EBD and/or Learning Disabilities
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Eligibility to register with Ofsted as a Responsible Individual
- Strong understanding of safeguarding compliance and current regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional leadership communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across multiple sites
