Job Summary and Responsibilities
Job Requirements
- Must have one of the following:
Bachelors degree in a field relevant toclinical laboratory science which includes6 semester hours (9 quarter hours) ofchemistry and 6 semester hours (9 quarterhours) of biology or microbiology;
Associate degree of at least 60 semesterhours (90 quarter hours) including 6semester hours (9 quarter hours) ofchemistry and 6 semester hours (9 quarterhours) of biology or microbiology AND fiveyears full-time acceptable clinicallaboratory experience in ChemistryHematology Microbiology or Immunologywithin the last ten years;
Ten years full-time acceptable clinical laboratoryexperience in Chemistry HematologyMicrobiology or Immunology within the last15 years and demonstration of competency.
- Continuing education requirements must be maintained
- Must demonstrate the ability to handlepeople in diverse situations
- Valid California Drivers License
- Experience working with computers and automated laboratory instrumentationpreferred.
