Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Analytics Engineer to join our team. The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures to support data analytics and business intelligence efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering experience with various data technologies and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective management and utilization of our data assets.



Function


  • Design build and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL (Extract Transform Load) ELT processes to ingest process and store data from various sources.
  • Develop and optimize data architectures including data warehouses data lakes and databases to support analytics and reporting requirements and as well AI / ML requirements.
  • Work with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement data quality checks and data governance practices to ensure the accuracy completeness and reliability of data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from diverse sources and ensure data consistency across systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and systems to identify and resolve issues and improve performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and recommend improvements and enhancements.
  • Document data engineering processes architectures and systems to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.


Your Profile


  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in data engineering data development or related roles.
  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and technologies such as Apache Spark or similar frameworks.
  • Experience with data integration and transformation tools such as Azure Data Factory and SQL-based ELT processes.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms and their data services (e.g. Azure Databricks Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse ).
  • Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL Server Oracle PostgreSQL MongoDB) and data modeling techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
