Job Summary
Part-Time Drafter (Approx. 16 hours/week Onsite in Telford PA)
Quality Lab Accessories (QLA) a trusted leader in dissolution accessories is seeking a highly competent and motivated part time Drafter.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks and possess a working knowledge of AutoCAD. This role requires an individual who is a quick learner can work with minimal direction and has a strong understanding of proper dimensioning and drawing standards. You will be responsible for creating modifying and maintaining detailed technical drawings via our change process. This position is to work in-person 2 days a week preferably Tuesday and Thursday.
What Youll Do
- Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings and models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Dimension drawings accurately and logically to convey all necessary information for manufacturing and assembly.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy completeness and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain and organize drawing files and documentation in a systematic manner.
- Proactively identify and resolve drafting-related issues.
- Prior working experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Ability to create new drawings and/or modify existing drawings
- Experience updating a Bill of Materials.
- Experience using an Engineering Change process (ECR ECN ECO etc)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
