Job Summary
Ashburnham Westminster Regional School District is looking for a a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide support to a an elementary student. The duties include but not limited to: Provide 1:1 care to student with special health care needsRide bus/van with student before and after school and assist getting on and off of bus/vanEnsure student safety at all timesAssess and treat illness manage chronic diseaseProvide emergency care/assessmentImplement plan of care per individualized health care plans or emergency plan for students requiring nursing services on medicationsPerform treatments and/or nursing proceduresAssist with ADLs and hygiene careWork collaboratively with the school nurse/nursing coordinator school staff families and health care providers/consultants to ensure high quality of careCommunicates and collaborates with parents on an as needed basisFollows district policies and proceduresMaintains medical records and documents daily on student/sAny other responsibilities assigned by school nurse/nursing supervisor
