Job Summary
Job Title: Locum to Perm - Physician - Oncology
Join a dedicated team at a free-standing cancer center in Greenville South Carolina as we seek a skilled physician for locum to permanent coverage in Medical Oncology. This facility is known for its compassionate care and advanced treatment options for adult and geriatric patients suffering from hematological and oncological conditions. Job Responsibilities:
- Participation in Tumor Board meetings
- Management of bone marrow transplants
- Collaboration with blood bank services
- Ordering tests and imaging
- Prescribing medications and treatments
- Administration of chemotherapy (nurse oncologist available)
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active South Carolina license (candidates needing to obtain a state license will be considered) - REQUIRED
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - REQUIRED
- Current DEA certification - REQUIRED
- Must submit to both locations to be considered - Job 60841 - REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology
- Active South Carolina medical license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
