As Senior Business Owner you will operate at the frontier of two fast-moving industries driving solutions that create customer value accelerate sustainability and strengthen Volvo Cars position as a leader in electrification.
What youll do
We are looking for a Senior Business Owner to strengthen our Smart Grid Energy Solutions this role you will shape and manage the roadmap for one of the most dynamic areas of our industry: integrating cars into the grid enabling smart charging and developing solutions for energy flexibility and grid services.
You will lead major business initiatives ensuring alignment across geographies functions and stakeholders. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to deliver customer-centric solutions that drive business growth and support Volvo Cars electrification leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and manage the Smart Grid roadmap translating strategy into prioritized business lines and initiatives
- Lead major initiatives or business lines from business case to launch and lifecycle management
- Ensure portfolio execution by aligning cross-functional teams managing dependencies and resolving escalations
- Drive business and sales development for existing offerings ensuring continuous relevance and performance improvement
- Provide market customer and competitive insights that inform both strategy and operational decisions
What youll bring
You would bring extensive experience in business development product strategy or portfolio management preferably in new energy services mobility or related industries. You have proven ability to lead cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives at scale. You carry strong commercial acumen with experience in partnerships sales enablement or new business models. You are have the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You would have astrong interest in sustainability innovation and shaping the future of energy and mobility.
