Key Responsibilities
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures
Monitor and assess patients with respiratory conditions
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plans
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment
Provide critical care support in pulmonary settings (if applicable)
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
Education:
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy (RT) Program
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year experience including critical care if working in pulmonary settings
Certification:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Licensure:
Respiratory Care Board of California
References:
3 professional references required
