Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures

• Monitor and assess patients with respiratory conditions

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plans

• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment

• Provide critical care support in pulmonary settings (if applicable)

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Education:

  • Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy (RT) Program

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience including critical care if working in pulmonary settings

• Certification:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

• Licensure:

  • Respiratory Care Board of California

• References:

  • 3 professional references required
