Thompson Associates is looking for a skilled Automotive Controller to join our centralized office team in Nashua NH. Our team supports multiple dealerships as well as other business operations. Were seeking someone who can balance big-picture strategy with hands-on leadership thrives in a dynamic environment and brings both flexibility and precision to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the monthly close process.
- Oversee the preparation of all monthly financial reports and schedules including income statements balance sheets variance reports and reconciliations.
- Provide leadership for the accounting departments ensuring policies procedures and personnel are aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage cash flow and oversee the companys cash management processes.
- Take on additional duties and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven background in accounting with the ability to prepare analyze and finalize financial statements.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required; CPA license strongly preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Strong communication skillsboth written and verbal.
- Analytical thinker with problem-solving ability and a team-oriented approach.
- Skilled at meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Tech-savvy adaptable and detail-focused with a commitment to excellence.
