Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards Cleanroom: no hair products jewelry makeup nail polish perfume exposed piercings facial hair etc... allowed Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery) No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses gowning gloves lab coat ear plugs etc.) Standing for full shift Strong Odors (chemical lubricants biological products etc.) Warehouse Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

How will you make an impact:

The Middletown site manufactures in vitro diagnostic reagents controls and calibrators which are used in conjunction with clinical diagnostic instrumentation.

What will you do

  • Colleagues will operate maintain & troubleshoot all production equipment associated within the department to prevent and/or address mechanical breakdowns.
  • Responsible for setting up Work Centers in a timely and organized manner tearing down the Work Center when the Work Order is complete
  • Troubleshoot machine issues
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Works alone or with other technicians to perform filling labeling and/or packaging of products
  • Align with GMP ISO 13485 guidelines and company SOPs
  • Responsible for adhering to accurate GDP practices.
  • Ability to take apart machines and equipment.
  • Efficiently and safely operate machinery and check for simple maintenance as needed and make adjustments when vital.

High school diploma or equivalent experience

Experience

Minimum of one years of experience in manufacturing.

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Proven track record to follow policies and procedures instructions and to meet project timelines consistently and independently.
  • Proven ability to multi-task prioritize plan and forecast multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results.
  • Self-motivated with bias for action.
  • Outstanding follow up and organizational skills.
