Account Manager Automotive (Japanese & English Required)
Location: Must be willing to relocate to southern Michigan (centrally located between Detroit Kalamazoo Toledo and Fort Wayne Indiana)

Salary: $115000$120000 base approx. 10% semi-annual bonus

We are seeking an Account Manager to become the dedicated liaison for a major automotive OEM (primarily Honda). This is an on-site full-time role with long-term career potential. The focus is on nurturing deep client relationships ensuring exceptional customer service supporting negotiations and resolving any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for key customer accounts (Honda focus) building long-term trust-based partnerships
• Not a sales quota role: the business is at capacity emphasis is on relationship management customer support and issue resolution
• Prepare and negotiate price quotes respond quickly to customer inquiries and problem reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Japanese headquarters sometimes requiring late calls due to time zones
• Participate in continuous improvement and customer satisfaction initiatives
• Relocate to a safe welcoming Michigan community known for its relaxed pace outdoor recreation and central access to major cities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Fluent in Japanese and English (required)
• 34 years of automotive industry experience (does not need to be in foundry or machining broad industry backgrounds welcome)
• Relationship management customer service and problem-solving strengths
• Willing to work on-site Monday Friday (no remote)
• Commitment to long-term stable career growth
• Willingness to relocate (relocation package provided)
