Reporting into the Manager of the Global Financial Crimes Divisions (GFCD) Data Insights and Analytics - Intelligence Delivery (DIA-ID) team which is part of the GFCD Operations Financial Crime Compliance Data Analytics (FCC-DA) function this new position has been created for the purpose of supporting analytic capabilities of DIA-ID. This is a global position that will work closely with regional DIA and Intelligence and Analytics teams located in the Americas Asia EMEA and Japan. This position will be responsible for supporting a team that provides a consistent and cohesive intelligence and analytics capability covering all financial crime risk taxonomies across all products branches and entities where MUFG operates. The DIA-ID team supports financial crimes investigations through the creation of actionable intelligence. This intelligence is developed via data capture conditioning and enrichment; analytical methods such as descriptive diagnostic outlier detection geospatial analysis network analysis and predictive position will be responsible for the production and quality control of ad-hoc reports in support of GFCD teams such as Sanctions AML Advisory and Complex Investigations teams. Additionally this position will be responsible for branch country regional and global thematic reviews executed by Data Insights and Analytics. These products are designed to clearly communicate MUFG exposure to the global FinCrime Risk environment to senior GFCD leadership and empower decision making about risk mitigation role requires a strong skillset in descriptive and predictive analytics and modeling. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting leadership to ensure a globally consistent analytics effort that enables the proactive identification of potential financial crime risks.

The typical base pay range for this role is between $116K - $160K depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
