Join our dynamic team as an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician where youll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. Working under the direct supervision of pharmacists and alongside other skilled technicians youll be responsible for a diverse range of tasks aimed at supporting medication preparation packaging distribution and inventory management.

What youll do:
- Enter prescription details into EPIC Willow Ambulatory system.
- Beresponsible for receiving inbound contacts (calls emails faxes etc) from patients providers and insurance companies.
- Be responsible for interviewing callers to obtain a full understanding of what information is being requested coordinating over the phone pharmacy tasks ranging from processing a prescription medication to updating patients insurance and demographics while maintaining high level customer service on every call.
What youll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician Registration with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy
- 1 year ofpharmacy technician experience
- 2 years retail/inpatient pharmacy technician experience preferred
- PTCB Certifiedrequired upon hire
- Knowledge of insurance and claims
- Extreme attention to detail
- High level of proficiency with operating computer systems
Salary Range: Minimum 18.97/hour - Maximum 31.33/ will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
