Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate/Partner with a strong track-record in Property Law to join Laurus.


The ideal candidate will possess not only an in-depth understanding of property law but also exceptional client care skills. This role is suited for an individual who excels in a fast-paced environment ready to mentor junior lawyers and contribute significantly to our firms service quality.

  • Expertise in Property Law: Your in-depth knowledge spans across various property matters complemented by first-class client care skills. You approach your work with pragmatism precision and adaptability thriving in our fast-paced environment.


  • Leadership Excellence: You champion Laurus ethos in every client interaction leading by example to contribute significantly to the development and support of your colleagues in the Property Law team.


  • Collaborative Team-Player: Working closely with the Director of Property and fellow senior lawyers within the team you will have the opportunity to input to the successful operation of the department through budgeting training mentoring and ensuring compliance with our high service standards.


  • Commercial Acumen: As a seasoned professional you understand that business development is key. Your skill in winning work developing referral networks and expanding our client base is essential. Your role is pivotal in supporting Laurus growth blending legal proficiency with strategic business development initiatives.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage key transactions including residential sales purchases and refinancing.
  • Drive business development efforts to nurture existing relationships and forge new ones.
  • Oversee and mentor junior lawyers paralegals and traineeswho will report directly to you promoting a culture of excellence compliance and professional development.
