Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design KLAs Global Products Group (GPG) which is responsible for creating all of KLAs metrology and inspection products is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist software engineers application development engineers and senior product technology process engineers. Central Engineering is KLAs largest engineering organization comprised of 9 Centers-of-Excellence (CoE) in various disciplines applied across all product groups in the company. These CoE include Handling & Automation Precision Motion Control Sensors & Image Acquisition Platform Design and Packaging Engineering among others. Talent includes over 500 engineers across global centers in Israel China India and the US. Each CoE contributes not just talent and deliverables per discipline toward product programs but also subject matter expertise best practices roadmaps specialized facilities apparatus models and analytics. These differentiate KLA not only in WHAT we do but also in HOW we do it.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Job description:

Electronics system design electrical system design and motion control system integration for KT product;

Work with system/mechanical/software engineer to define and develop electronics subsystem; participate electronics subsystem integration and test in system-level;

Maintain legacy product including obsolescence parts replacement develop new feature to improve existing products continuously;

Interact with manufacturing service teams to support a smooth product transition into manufacturing and the field;

Write technical documentation that meets the defined quality standards for manufacturing service as required; manage document release process;

Preferred qualifications:

MSEE or above;

Knowledge and experience of electronics design FPGA/CPLD development electrical design motion control system integration;

Team player in international working environment;

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;

Active and highly motivated; strong learning ability;

Strong interest in engineering development;

System level knowledge and experience in semiconductor industry are plus;

Minimum Qualifications

Masters Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
