Exciting Opportunity: Superintendent (Multifamily/Commercial Real Estate)
Candidate Location Preference: NYC Metro
CORY is hiring for a qualified Superintendent with strong expertise in project specifications plans codes field construction and methodologies. This role involves coordinating all subcontractor field operations to ensure the timely and on-budget delivery of new mixed-use construction projects.
About Our Client:
Our client is a leading developer and builder in the NYC area with a focus on residential and commercial real estate.
Your Responsibilities as a Leader:
Maintain project records review submittals process requests for information and review pay applications.
Conduct site observations document construction progress via reports (travel required) and ensure adherence to building codes standards and regulations.
Resolve problems collaboratively and serve as the main client contact during bidding and construction aiming for exceptional service.
Oversee and guide construction project meetings.
Collaborate on multifamily project specification standards and quality assurance including internal reviews.
Research materials and installation methods; assist Project Managers with project permitting.
The Skills & Experience You Possess:
Bachelors degree in Architecture or equivalent. Licensed Architect preferred
6 years experience in ground-up new construction high-rise builds in NYC.
NYC Supers license and all associated OSHA trainings
Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit experience is advantageous.
Experienced in design and construction with a deep understanding of methodologies and techniques.
Perks and Benefits Youll Receive:
Base salary depends on overall experience - $120K - $150K
