Architecture is one of the key pillars of the Banks Technology and Data Strategy. Group Architecture team drives the development of a clear target state architecture for the organisation together with the governance processes supporting tools standards and frameworks required to deliver this. This requires strong collaboration and buy-in across the Bank working closely with federated business and infrastructure teams.

Group Architecture plays an important role in the delivery of the Strategy and impacts the entire breadth of the Banks business building out the Data Strategy and associated knowledge base

The Enterprise Process Model (EPM) is at the heart of how the Bank delivers resilience and regulatory compliance. It provides a single governed view of our endtoend processes enabling better decisionmaking risk control and data quality across the organisation. With increasing focus on operational resilience thirdparty risk and digital transformation EPM is evolving from a static repository to a strategic capability that underpins change. This role offers the chance to shape that journeydriving governance embedding agile ways of working and influencing how the Bank designs and manages its processes at scale.

Your key responsibilities

  • Elicit interpret and document business requirements; perform gap analysis and data interpretation to produce clear specifications and decision ready options
  • Monitor development progress against agreed milestones ensuring timely delivery of core outputs while providing guidance risk management and escalation support
  • Partner with technology and governance teams to embed product led practices utilising agile methods and with a view to improve
  • Help define and shape the target state operating model for Enterprise Process Model ensuring alignment across divisions and with regulatory requirements
  • Enhance and operationalise EPM governance (policies standards decision forums controls) identify improvement opportunities and lead cross divisional changes to embed best practice
  • Collaborate with SMEs to evolve the Enterprise Process Model logical/meta model and alignment of taxonomies across the organisation

Your skills and experience

  • Business analysis and product experience in financial services ideally with exposure to process governance or business architecture
  • Proven ability to elicit and document requirements perform gap analysis and translate needs into decision ready options and high-quality specifications
  • Hands-on experience modelling business process with solid understanding of modelling standards and QA
  • Experience managing backlogs (epics user stories acceptance criteria) and partnering with technology teams in agile delivery (Jira/Confluence)
  • Track record in governance frameworks: policies standards decision forums and operationalising controls
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills; able to simplify complex topics for senior audiences
