ABOUT THE BUSINESS
Walshs Glass a leading name in glass processing for over 50 years is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a full-time Apprentice Glass Processor. Based in Canning Vale this opportunity offers hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment supported by expert training and mentorship.

With a workforce of 115 and a commitment to customer satisfaction the company delivers high-quality glass products to clients ranging from small glazing businesses to Tier 1 commercial builders.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will undertake a Certificate III in Glass and Glazing while gaining practical experience across all stages of glass processing. Training will be delivered on-site by experienced operators and a dedicated training provider. Key responsibilities include:
- Learning and assisting with cutting and laminating glass
- Operating CNC machinery
- Manufacturing insulated glass units (IGUs)
- Participating in the toughening process
- Operating gantry cranes and forklifts
- Supporting maintenance and factory operations
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Walshs Glass is looking for someone who demonstrates:
- Completion of Year 11 or 12
- A mature and committed approach to work
- Reliability and teamwork
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- A practical hands-on attitude
- Ability to follow procedures and routines
- A methodical and safety-conscious mindset
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Physical capability to lift up to 25kg and handle glass safely
- A strong focus on quality and workplace safety
