What You Will Do:
- Support automation projects involving packaging labeling and transporting finished goods using conveyors robotic arms and AGVs.
Assist with automated palletizing and wrapping of finished goods.
Contribute to product design discussions to improve features that support automation and efficient production.
Help implement automation equipment aimed at reducing costs and improving OEE.
Work on tasks assigned by a mentor with weekly progress reviews.
Take ownership of small projects applying individual ideas and problem-solving approaches.
Gain exposure to unique custom automation solutions that directly support plant production needs.
What You Will Bring:
- Freshman Sophomore Junior or Senior student status working towards a Bachelors degree with an emphasis in an engineering related field of study
- Experience using Microsoft Office including the ability to create basic reports documents presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Strong verbal communication skills in order to clearly explain options and solutions to end-users
- Strong written communication skills demonstrating the ability to prepare outlines reports letters and any other supplemental materials in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to identify issues compare data and investigate discrepancies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Able to give full attention to what other people are saying taking time to understand the points being made and asking questions as appropriate
- Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks projects and priorities
- Ability to collaborate with team members
