About the Role
Warm Valley Health Care is seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our Behavioral Health Department. This position provides psychotherapy and support services to patients of all ages and clinical backgrounds working within an integrated care team. The role also includes outreach education and collaboration with tribal entities schools and community partners to support mental health and wellness on the Wind River Reservation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual family and group therapy crisis intervention and psychoeducation.
Conduct intake evaluations diagnostic assessments and treatment planning.
Maintain timely accurate documentation in the electronic health record.
Collaborate with WVHC behavioral health staff medical providers schools and community partners.
Participate in case staffing outreach events and quality improvement activities.
Uphold ethical professional and regulatory standards (HIPAA FERPA state licensure).
Qualifications
Required
Masters degree in Counseling Social Work Marriage & Family Therapy or related field.
Active Wyoming license (LCSW LPC LMFT).
Experience with trauma-informed care crisis intervention and diverse populations.
Training in evidence-based practices (e.g. CBT DBT TF-CBT).
Strong communication organizational and collaborative skills.
Preferred
Experience in tribal health rural health or community mental health.
Bilingual ability (English and local Native languages).
Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms.
