Job Summary
Highway Motors Inc. is a family-owned authorized dealer for International trucks and Idealease Lease & Rental services that has served western and central Virginia for over 90 years. We are currently seeking an entry-level technician with our Idealease fleet shop. This position will be full-time from 8:30-5:00 with a 30-minute lunch break. You will have occasional unscheduled overtime and you will receive our full benefit package- health dental and life insurance; 401k with partial match; and paid time off after three months.
Basic duties of the job will include pre-delivery inspections of new trucks basic maintenance and light repair on lease and rental trucks checking in rental trucks washing and cleaning rental trucks or used trucks and preparing used trucks for sale. While this position is entry-level we will provide extensive training where possible and we hope to offer you opportunities for advancement both within the Idealease shop and within our three full-service dealerships. We typically offer incremental raises outside of the yearly review period for obtaining a CDL state inspection license completing training modules etc. and will pay for most online training done away from the shop (if not done during PTO).
