Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Security Systems Engineer to support the implementation configuration and maintenance of advanced electronic security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in operating systems databases networking and virtualization with an added advantage for experience in security systems software and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Install configure and maintain security system servers and applications (VMS access control intrusion detection etc.).
Support and troubleshoot systems running on Windows Server OS MS SQL and VMware or Hyper-V platforms.
Design and implement network configurations ensuring secure and reliable system communication.
Configure and support Microsoft Failover Clustering for high availability environments.
Collaborate with project and support teams to deploy and integrate security systems in client environments.
Perform system diagnostics and resolve issues related to software database or network connectivity.
Ensure proper system documentation backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Coordinate with vendors for advanced support and updates to security platforms.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Information Technology or related field.
3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering roles.
Strong experience with:
Windows Server OS
MS SQL Server
Virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V)
Networking concepts (TCP/IP routing VLANs firewalls)
Microsoft Cluster Services (Failover Clustering)
Familiarity with security systems software (e.g. Genetec Milestone Lenel Avigilon) is a plus.
Certifications such as MCSA VMware VCP or CCNA are advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
