Network Monitoring Engineer

Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join our clients Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team on a temporary contract basis. This is a fully remote opportunity ideal for professionals with a strong background in AML compliance suspicious activity monitoring and fraud detection.

Job Title: AML Transaction Monitoring Analyst (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract)
Pay Rate: $35/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday Normal Business Hours

Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze transaction monitoring and fraud detection alerts. Identify unusual or potentially suspicious activity. Escalate cases that may involve fraud money laundering or other financial crimes. Document findings clearly and accurately in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory expectations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of alerts and cases

Requirements Qualifications: 2 years of experience in AML compliance transaction monitoring or fraud investigations. Strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and industry best practices. Experience working with transaction monitoring systems (e.g. Actimize SAS or similar). Excellent analytical written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. Preferred: CAMS certification or equivalent is a plus. Experience in financial institutions or fintech environments.
