Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammographic exams (screening and diagnostic) following ACR guidelines.
- Assist in advanced procedures including stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations.
- Ensure proper documentation and image quality for radiologist interpretation.
- Provide compassionate care education and support to patients.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety issues.
- Ensure compliance with all safety quality and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
- At least 1 year of experience in performing stereotactic biopsies and needle localization procedures.
Certifications/Licensure:
- ARRT Registered in Radiography (R)
- ARRT Certification in Mammography (M)
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license through the Texas
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
