Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) Driver to join our team. The driver will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe timely and efficient manner while complying with all federal state and company regulations. Drivers will average 2-3 nights per week on the road during peak season. Truck fleet consists of 2018 or newer clean International sleepers with APUs for running a small refrigerator/etc for extra comfort while on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailer walking floor dump tanker etc.).

Transport goods to and from customer locations warehouses and distribution centers.

Conduct pre-trip en route and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Ensure cargo is properly loaded secured and unloaded as required.

Maintain accurate driver logs delivery records and trip reports.

Adhere to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and all traffic laws.

Communicate effectively with dispatch customers and team members.

Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.

Qualifications:

Valid Class A CDL license.

Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass DOT drug/alcohol screenings.

Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience preferred.

Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and hours-of-service requirements.

Strong time management and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.

Work in varying weather and road conditions.
