At Houston Methodist the Multimodality Technologist position is an experienced Technologist responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures with two or more specialty modalities of moderate to high complexity. This position may perform other job duties related to admissions and registration medical assisting and transportation as needed. The Multimodality Technologist position is a member of the direct patient care team and is fully competent in all aspects of various radiology procedures. This position works independently by exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations. The Multimodality Technologist position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic procedures delivering exceptional patient care teamwork and adheres to radiation standards and guidelines established by governing agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.
Skills and Certifications note: bold skills and certification are required
Must be certified in MRI (ARRT-MRI)
Must be certified in ARRT (M) OR ARRT-CT
Two years combined experience in more than one specialty modality
