THE ROLE
Join the Portworx team to design and build a new secure SaaS platform delivering a consistent best-in-class experience for customers using our various offerings. Youll drive product innovation owning the design and implementation of key features across the Portworx portfolio. This is a chance to put your GOlang and Kubernetes expertise to work ensuring the highest quality code and customer-centric outcomes in a collaborative environment.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Designing and developing SaaS microservices and integrating new features to Portworx products.
- Bringing a focus on design development unit/functional testing design reviews code reviews documentation continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Collaborating with peers and stake-holders to take solutions from initial design to production.
- Take full ownership of design and development activity by adapting to customer feedback and handling issues found in unit testing system testing and customer deployments.
- Experimenting with new technologies in order to push the state-of-the-art and innovate new solutions.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 4 years of experience in designing developing and testing various product components with strong preference for GOlang C or Java.
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in Kubernetes and Containers principles.
- Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and SaaS-based scalable platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing high quality testable maintainable optimal production-grade microservices and promoting them to a cloud-hosted environment.
- Solid Computer Science background in data structures algorithms and software design.
- Familiarity with areas such as Authentication/Authorization frameworks (SSO RBAC) E-commerce integration Kubernetes Control Plane development or building Telemetry/Billing systems is beneficial.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Bangalore India office in compliance with Pures policies unless you are on PTO or work travel or other approved leave.
