- Assist senior mechanics in diagnosing repairing and maintaining vehicles landscape equipment and snow removal machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes tire rotations and fluid checks.
- Inspect equipment for wear and tear ensuring all machinery operates safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.
- Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
- Support the team during peak seasons including snow removal operations in winter.
- Completion of a mechanic apprenticeship program or relevant training (e.g. automotive or small engine repair).
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems small engines and mechanical tools.
- Ability to work with hand tools power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Valid drivers license is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including winter.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Previous experience with landscape or snow removal equipment is a plus but not required.
