This marketplace is a core part of democratizing creation and online this space as a Data Scientist for Marketplace you will leverage your expertise in product analytics data infrastructure and experimentation to inform and evaluate the growth of the marketplace. By building robust data foundations your insights will be essential to understanding platform activity and building the best avatar marketplace for our millions of users and creators. You will collaborate with a team of data scientists and economists along with cross-functional partners to implement data-informed strategies that maximize the impact for our community. This role is essential to our long-term strategy and you will report to the Senior Data Science Manager Marketplace.
You Will:
- Partner directly with Marketplace leadership (product and engineering) to provide insights that accelerate product development and innovation.
- Develop and own strategic data initiatives including building and maintaining core dashboards and reports that track the health of the marketplace.
- Design execute and analyze A/B tests to measure the impact of new features and inform product decisions.
- Architect and build robust data pipelines to support analytics reporting and modeling needs.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to understand user behavior identify opportunities for growth and solve ambiguous business problems.
- Contribute to the teams science roadmap by identifying key areas for analysis and experimentation.
You Have:
- 4 years of industry experience in data science product analytics or a related quantitative role.
- Expertise in SQL and experience using scripting languages for data analysis (e.g. Python R).
- Proficiency in developing data pipelines and working with big data technologies (e.g. Spark Hive Airflow).
- Strong experience in experimental design (A/B testing) and statistical analysis.
- A proven track record of translating complex data into actionable insights and communicating them to stakeholders.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics Computer Science Engineering or a related field).
