Position: Health and Physical Education Adjunct Instructor for the Dual Achievement Program (DAP)

Location: Athens Campus

Department: Office of Secondary Initiatives

Reports to: Executive Director for Secondary Initiatives

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in health or physical education or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Willingness to teach at all Athens Technical College locations including high school campuses.
• Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face to face online audio/video etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous teaching experience at the secondary level.
• Active teaching certificate.
• Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
• Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred.
