Job Description

Position Summary
Villanova Universitys Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering ( CEE ) seeks applications for a full-time visiting teaching faculty position in Water Resources Engineering. This is a one-year appointment for the 2025-26 academic year. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian Order. Duties And Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate fluid mechanics and hydrology and hydraulics courses in addition to other courses based on the candidates background. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively in the classroom with existing faculty in a co-teaching capacity. The candidate is also expected to maintain a presence on campus and be responsive to students as a full-time member of the faculty for the duration of the appointment.

Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or closely aligned discipline is required (must be completed at the time of hire). The applicant must demonstrate a dedication to teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
