Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist (CVOR) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong large/acute care CVOR experience and be confident in supporting surgical teams in complex cardiovascular procedures.
Responsibilities:
Provide skilled assistance during cardiovascular surgical procedures in a large acute care CVOR setting.
Prepare and maintain surgical instruments sterile field and necessary supplies.
Anticipate surgeon and team needs during procedures.
Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and hospital protocols.
Participate in patient safety practices infection prevention and quality standards.
Take call responsibilities as assigned (see schedule below).
Schedule Details:
Primary Shift: Days 8-hour shifts
On-Call: Once a week
Weekend Call: One weekend per month (Friday 3:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM)
Holiday/Reduced Operations: Must cover 1 holiday or reduced operation day during the 13-week contract
Requirements:
Certification as Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (required)
Strong CVOR experience in a large acute care facility
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively with surgical teams
Interview Availability:
9:00 AM 12:00 PM ET
3:00 PM 6:00 PM ET
