About Our School
St. Michaels Catholic Preparatory School is a coeducational Catholic school serving students from Pre-K 3 through 12th grade in Austin Texas. The Lower School comprises grades PK3-4th the Middle School houses grades 5-8 and the Upper school includes grades 9-12. Purpose
The campus store associate will serve in the development operation and maintenance of all spirit wear inventory sales and distribution in association with St. Michaels Catholic Preparatory School. This is a part-time hourly position that reports to the Director of Auxiliary Programs. Evening and weekend hours will be required.
Spirit wear is sold in two ways: through our online spirit wear store and in person during events on campus. This position will be responsible for managing inventory fulfilling online purchases stocking and preparing the spirit trailer and in-person sales during events.
The auxiliary department is responsible for developing promoting and managing programs that generate additional revenue for the school and provide added value for our students families and the community. This includes the following programs:
- After-School Care and Enrichment
- Academic Competitions
- Campus Store
- Facility Rentals
- Transportation
- Summer Camp
As a result the department advances the schools brand as an innovative leader cultivates admissions applicants for the school and creates additional employment opportunities and benefits for our own personnel.
Essential Duties
- Manage and update inventory; keeping the Director of Auxiliary Programs informed as inventory begins running low.
- Fulfill online orders and assist in communication.
- Keep the stock room clean and organized.
- Keep the spirit trailer clean and organized
- Keep the distribution center clean and organized.
- Ensure the spirit trailer is well stocked prior to an on-campus event.
- Serve as the head sales associate in the spirit trailer during on-campus events.
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns as needed.
- Excellent customer service greeting and interacting with clients as they enter the facility.
- Display positive attitude and pride in work and represent the organization in a positive manner
- Work independently and work under minimum supervision
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with businesses organizations and schools; and work with customers community members and parents.
- Dependability and willingness to support the varied needs of the team.
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work weekday afternoons weekday evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance and up to 140 pounds with
- assistance.
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- Pass a background check.
