Turner Industries Group is looking for experienced Loaders for work in the Geismar LA area. Loaders will assist with the loading or unloading activities at the dock. Boom truck and overhead crane operations are a key part of this role. Loaders for this jobsite will be working in a production environment and outdoors.
Qualification Standards:
- Written pre-employment qualification test
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Pass background check and obtain a TWIC
- Boom truck operation experience required
- Overhead crane operation experienc preferred
Functional Requirements:
Assist with terminal / distribution operations by performing loading and unloading activities wtih overhead crane boom truck and other heavy equipment as needed; Monitor products transferred to and from tanks vessels or pipelines at terminal site; Assist with terminal maintenance duties as needed maintaining equipment in operating condition; Catch samples as per Standard Operating Procedure; Input information into electronic hand-held device which documents Standard Operating Procedure; Load trucks railcars and unload raw materials from outside suppliers and intra-plant Units; Track mobile movement & spot railcars and tanker trailers; Assist customers and/or producers with any problems that may arise; Special assignment duties and call out as required; Subject to random DOT drug screening
Compensation:
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders scaffolds structures etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders scaffolds structures etc.; reaching in all directions handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 100 pounds from ground level waist level and/or overhead; carrying objects tools equipment etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.
