Job Description & Summary

A career within Cybersecurity and Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) services at PwC offers a unique opportunity to help our clients strengthen their security posture and reduce risk exposure through cutting-edge tools and practices. Youll be part of a team that empowers organizations to identify prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities across complex IT environments.

As a Vulnerability Management Engineer you will play a key role in deploying and operating enterprise-grade vulnerability management platforms such as Tenable Qualys and Rapid7 while also driving automation reporting and process optimization. Youll collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure effective identification triage and resolution of security riskshelping clients extract maximum value from their security investments and supporting long-term business resilience and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy configure and manage vulnerability scanning tools primarily in the Tenable suite and support similar platforms like Qualys and Rapid7.
  • Execute scheduled vulnerability scans troubleshoot issues validate results and coordinate with remediation teams to drive closure.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python PowerShell Bash) for scan orchestration report generation and asset classification.
  • Build and manage dashboards using PowerBI to visualize risk exposure remediation progress and compliance status.
  • Integrate vulnerability tools with CMDBs SIEMs and ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow) using APIs and automation workflows.
  • Drive exposure management and Remediation-Based Vulnerability Management (RBVM) strategies with actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements with timely accurate reporting and documentation.
  • Contribute to evaluation and use of AgenticAI in prioritization false-positive reduction and risk scoring.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards tool capabilities and continuously improve vulnerability management processes.
  • Apply OWASP Top 10 and Secure Coding principles during vulnerability analysis particularly for application-level findings.
  • Align assessments and remediation efforts with CIS Benchmarks and industry-standard hardening guidelines.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and network security teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities across on-premises and cloud networks.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Tenable Certified Professional Qualys Specialist CompTIA Security or equivalent.

Professional and Educational Background

Bachelors Degree Preferred.
