Key Responsibilities
- Translate mission needs into technical milestones: Convert mission needs into actionable technical milestones aligned with data science requirements
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines: Build and maintain data processing pipelines to support complex data workflows
- Deliver ad hoc training: Provide training to data users on custom tools and data exploitation aligned with established use cases
- Build user-facing tools: Use Python Neo4j Streamlit and similar technologies to create tools that apply advanced data science methodologies
- Integrate LLMs into workflows: Identify opportunities to leverage available Large Language Models (LLMs) to enhance data science tools
- Identify emerging workflows: Discover and support new data science workflows that can accelerate the mission
- Leverage big data platforms: Utilize available platforms and tools to implement technical goals for data management

- Location: On-site
- Travel Requirements: Moderate (2050%)

Qualifications
Required:
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a Polygraph
- Education: Bachelors degree
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years
- Expertise in data exploitation and enrichment: Mastery of tools such as ElasticSearch Neo4j and similar
- ETL pipeline experience: Proficiency with NiFi and Pentaho including batch and streaming workflows
- Machine learning application: Experience using unsupervised models to address complex queries
- Python and graph database proficiency: Skilled in Python packages and graph database technologies
- Cross-repository querying: Ability to write queries across multiple big data repositories with varying sensitivity
- Backend engineering and scientific computing: Strong background in software engineering and relevant programming languages
Desired:
- Mission delivery and scaling: Proven track record of scaling capabilities to production in support of Sponsor missions
- Leadership in data science: Experience leading complex data science teams
- Machine learning development: Background in developing machine learning solutions
- Partner collaboration: Experience working with both foreign and domestic Sponsor partners
- Custom algorithm development: Skilled in writing algorithms for data exploitation
- Advanced graph querying: Proficiency in complex graph database queries
- High-tempo environment experience: Demonstrated success in fast-paced operational settings
