Position Overview

We are hiring a Structural Welder MIG (3G Position) to join a Tulsa-based fabrication team. This role focuses on welding vertical joints on structural steel components using advanced MIG (GMAW) processes. A successful Structural Welder MIG (3G Position) will ensure strong precise welds that meet safety quality and industry standards for construction industrial and support structures.

Key Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding in the 3G position focusing on vertical joints for structural steel.
Read and interpret blueprints drawings and job specifications.
Prepare materials set up welding equipment and maintain proper welding techniques.
Inspect welds for conformance to standards and correct any defects.
Maintain accurate documentation of welds and project progress.
Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a structural welder specializing in MIG welding.
Ability to pass a 3G MIG test (downhill root and uphill cap).
Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Must be dependable punctual and able to work long shifts.
