Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures
Collaborate with physicians to interpret diagnostic images
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Maintain and calibrate sonographic equipment
Document findings and maintain accurate patient records
Adhere to hospital protocols and regulatory standards
Education:
Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Sonographer Technologist Program recognized by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years hospital experience
Certifications (one or more required):
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) via ARDMS
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Licensure:
Registration by ARDMS as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
Strong attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in clinical settings
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Salary is commensurate with experience.
