Hybrid work
Udemy is headquartered in San Francisco with global offices in Australia India Ireland Türkiye and other US locations. Our robust hybrid work model spans San Francisco Denver Ankara Dublin and Melbourne. This hybrid position requires 3 days per week in the office at the nearest hub. About this role
This contractor role involves leading the development of native iOS applications focusing on enhancing user experience and implementing scalable solutions. This position offers flexibility and requires collaboration across teams to contribute to larger organizational goals on a project basis.
What youll be doing
- Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality scalable mobile applications.
- Conduct requirements analysis and code reviews on a contract basis.
- Integrate new features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Implement robust unit tests to maintain code quality.
- Optimize for security and performance.
- Track project progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Share expertise and promote best practices in mobile development.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
What youll have
- Bachelors degree in Computer Systems Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in Swift and Objective-C.
- Proven track record in leading successful iOS projects on a contractor basis.
- Experience with Agile workflows and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Understanding of security protocols and performance optimization.
- Adaptability to new technologies and project requirements.
