Job Description:Under the direct supervision of the Special Education Teacher Classroom Teacher and Special Education Coordinator the Teaching Assistant will work closely with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives social-emotional goals and objectives and maintain appropriate student behavior.

The typical TA is paid for 204 days including 180 school days 3 professional/staff days 11 holidays and 10 vacation are proud to be one of few communities to offer paid vacation for Teaching paid vacation allows Needham Public Schools to offer relatively consistent pay checks from week to week because our staff does not suffer pay cuts duringvacation weeksas many TAs do in other districts.
