Travel: up to 25% within Europe (Spain. Italy and other countries as needed)

Your Impact

As a Sr. Solutions Architect I (L8) you will be a key strategic partner to our most valued public safety this role you will own the technical success of high-impact complex solution implementations. You will shape and influence architecture at both the client and organizational level mentor architecture teams and drive innovation across integrations and enterprise deployments. You will serve as a trusted consultant and technical leader consistently delivering high-value outcomes with autonomy and excellence.

What Youll Do

• Serve as a technical leader and trusted consultant to high-value high-touch clients managing complex architecture engagements across multiple enterprise systems.
• Design and deliver sophisticated scalable solution architectures that directly influence agency outcomes and align with Axons strategic goals.
• Lead complex integration projects autonomously making critical decisions that impact project direction architecture and success metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across product engineering and customer-facing teams to define and evolve architectural direction.
• Drive continuous architectural improvements across Axon deployments optimizing for security reliability and performance.
• Influence customer decisions by effectively communicating solution value and providing proactive technical guidance.
• Architect and build integrations between Axon products and diverse agency systems (cloud on-prem hybrid) including data pipelines camera management systems and analytics platforms.
• Lead discovery design and implementation efforts for strategic clients ensuring business needs are translated into actionable technical solutions.
• Write scalable reusable code and leverage APIs (REST SOAP) to streamline implementation workflows. Collaborate with DevOps on infrastructure automation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other Solutions Architects and project team members elevating technical excellence across the organization.
• Contribute to the development of best practices templates and reusable frameworks for integration and architecture delivery.
• Support cross-department initiatives to scale Axons solution delivery capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; Masters Degree preferred.
• 68 years of progressive experience in technical solution architecture with proven success leading complex high-value client implementations.
• Deep expertise across multiple architecture domains (cloud infrastructure enterprise applications integrations security).
• Strong strategic and enterprise IT architecture planning capabilities.
• Extensive experience managing full project life cycles with autonomyfrom discovery and scoping through delivery and support.
• Expert-level understanding of:
• Network and systems architecture (LAN/WAN IP Video Video Management)
• Cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Containerization (Docker Kubernetes)
• Linux environments
• Systems integration frameworks and APIs (REST SOAP)
• VMS (Milestone GENETEC Avigulion etc.).
• Proficiency with scripting and development languages (Python Java SQL).
• Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.
• Excellent communication leadership and mentorship skills.
• Project Management certifications (e.g. PMI) preferred but not required.
• Passion for public safety and Axons mission to protect life.
