Yourresponsibilities
AsBusinessControlOfficeryouareresponsibleforthefollowingactivities:

  • Adviseandassistwiththeimplementationofnewandupdatednon-financialriskpoliciesproceduresandmeasures
  • Incollaborationwiththestakeholdersyouidentifyriskitemsbasedonbusinessknowledgeoftheend-to- endbusinessprocesses;
  • Provideevidencedocumentandreporttherisks
  • Activelyinvolvedindiscussionsaboutforexampleriskacceptanceandmeasurestolimitriskexposure
  • Helpwithprovidinganalyses(gapanalysisscenarioanalysismajorincidentandimpactanalysis)
  • Youare(co)gatekeeperoftheProductApprovalandReviewProcess(PARP)withintheTribe;
  • Contributetotheriskassessmentplanandprepareit;
  • Participateintheagileceremonies(marketplacessprintplanninganddemoriskwallinObeyaRoom)tostayinformedaboutthemostimportantactivitiesatalltimes.
  • Monitorthequalityofthenon-financialriskframeworkbyidentifyingthekeyrisksconductingkeycontroltestsandgatheringevidencetoavoidtheriskoffinanciallossorreputationaldamage
  • Contactforthe2ndLineofDefence
  • Adviseinternalstakeholders

How to succeed
.

AsaBusinessControlOfficerweaskyou have/are:

  • Current residency in the Netherlands and fluent in boththeDutchandEnglish
  • AcompletedHBO/WOeducationordemonstrablyanHBO/WOworkandthinkinglevel
  • Provenexperiencewith1st-lineriskmanagementisapre;affinitywiththisfieldisaprerequisite
  • Goodanalyticalcoordination&organizationskills
  • Youareflexiblecommunicativestrongdecisiveconvincingandtakeownership
  • Youhavebothknowledgeofprocessesingeneralandspecificofbankingandriskprocesses
